Richard and Phil were corner ref's with Kath keeping time scores. The rounds were 1min 30 secs with 30secs in the case of a draw.
The following took part:
Dean, Iona, Christopher, John, Aaron, Conner, Grant, Adam, Jordan H, Jamie, Jordan B, Lewis.
The standard was really high with the results in most fights being very close. We did a round robin out of the top 3 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd with points deciding the result. This needed a further fight for 1st place and there was a tie. The extra fight ran into extra time with the decision being made on warnings.
The top four places are:
1st Aaron 2nd Dean 3rd Jordan B 4th= Jordan H 4th= Grant

| PUT YOUR NAME ON COMET TEMPEL |
Have you made a Deep Impact? And if you have - have you ever made one as wide as a football stadium and several stories deep? This is your chance. The NASA space agency has a project called "Deep Impact" that involves launching a spacecraft to hit a comet. Hopefully as well as making a big hole, this should allow the inside to be studied for the first time. On that spacecraft will be a CD with the names of everyone who registers with the NASA website. So this is your chance to put your name on a comet.
Also, by coincidence, the name of the comet is "Tempel 1". Traditionally, comets are name after the person that first discovers them, in this case this was the first comet discovered by astronomer Ernst Tempel in 1857. The comet passes through our solar system every five and a half years. The website will be taking names until January 2004 and the spacecraft is expected to launch in December 2004. The impact is expected to be on 4th July 2005.
Everyone registering can print off a participation certificate. Press the following button to find out more about the project and to register your name - its free. | BRIGHTEN UP YOUR COMPUTER DESKTOP |

| We can only be impressed by Jackie Chan's martial arts ability in many of his movies. He is probably the most popular and widely known martial arts actor in the movies. He had a very difficult childhood. His parents left him to attend a Chinese opera school in Hong Kong, while they worked in Australia. There he learnt various forms of Kung Fu under the cruel regime of his school master. You can find out all about Jackie, his movies, photos, download screensavers and wallpaper as well as lots of other cool stuff at the Official Jackie Chan Website.
