Team Scotland Sponsorship or DonationThe Team Scotland training schedule not only requires personal commitment from amateur athletes, but also financial commitment to cover the costs of travelling and competing at the required level throughout the year. Generally, it is up to the individual athlete to fund all costs. Since "Martial Arts" are not recognised by the government agency SportScotland as an official sport, no funding is generally available from them and as such disqualifies local sports grant funding from many local authorities as well. This happens even when these athletes are competing for their country at World events. We have in the past tried to help by raising funds and sponsorship to help subsidise these athletes so they can compete at the correct level and so advance their competitive skills. However, the bulk of the cost is normally funded by an individual athlete or their family. Can you please help by sponsoring or by making a donation of any value.
